made from what?

Renew, reuse, recycle....we try to live as 'green' as possible...
Here is our latest effort in recycling.
Knitting needles as jewelry!


I'm no longer knitting with long, straight aluminum needles, (too hard on my wrists) so I have sliced them into pieces, polished the bits and made jewelry from them................I am feeling virtuous and having some fun simultaneously. So far, I have made a few bracelets, and a pair of earrings.

    How cool! You do come up with some wild ideas. I don't think I'm quite ready to part with my needles yet, much as I love the circulars.
