Some new things

Summer is nice time to try something new...spread your wings a bit... Here at Loose Ends we a trying a new idea or two...

First, we have "Top-Notch Revisited"!  This a a corner in the shop devoted to re-purposed, re-designed clothing...Womens and mens, top-notch clothing at bargain prices! Come in and check it out. New things added weekly.

Also new this week are some felted vessels, each unique.....this one is small, felted then trimmed with deerskin and antler buttons.

Want to dye?

DYE, not die....and not your hair, either.   :)  
 We will be dying yarn this year on June 20 and 22....
That's a Thursday from 1PM TO 6:30 AND Saturday from 10 Am to 2 PM..
. As always, first come, first served...plan to stay an hour once you start the process..
.Fee is $5 each skein you dye, plus the cost of the yarn you choose.  
It's easy, fun and there is no experience needed....Come join us!

Here at Loose Ends we offer an occasional formal class, but were are teaching all the time!
We offer free help most anytime and "learning by appointment" at your convenience...
What does that mean?
 It means if you and your bestie want to learn a new skill or technique, for a small fee we will set up a time for a private lesson that works for YOU...a class tailored to what you want to learn!

Blue ribbon knitting!

Congrats to Jean P., she won a blue ribbon on her knitted, beaded necklace... She learned the technique at this year's Loose Ends Winter Escape.. Nice Job!

Crochet

Many of our knitters a bit resistant to crochet....but I encourage all knitters to learn a few basic crochet techniques....you don't need a lot of fancy stitches to whip up something special.

This cowl is made with single crochet and yarn bits from my stash......so give it a try, come see me, I'll show you how!
